This is the story of a two-generation family business that has been running since 1975 and has been "proudly" written by Nouneh. At the time, "Mr. & Mrs Chahrouri were honoured to head Nailor Trading Company.”

Nailor is a general trading company located in Jumeirah Dubai, a company whose famous product is so Unique, the story started in Beirut where they grew up to a Unique Arts’ experts.

Business practices are illustrated in the Company's hotel supply dealings over the years, culminating in many of the country’s luxury Edifices, Houses and Offices. Nailor is proud that throughout its long history, every contract has been completed without a single loss to any surety".

Nailor Gallery For Appraisal has a GIA Graduate Gemologist & Asheford certification with over 14 years in the trade and a Member of the Professional Appraiser Code of Conduct (PACC). We have a full gemological laboratory, modern software, and a jeweller's studio with state-of-the-art equipment.

Appraisals are offered for insurance, price confirmation, fair market value/estate work, marketable cash value, and more. We appraise modern and antique jewellery, loose diamonds, and gemstones.

APPRAISAL SERVICES

INSURANCE APPRAISAL

Insurance appraisals are typically the most common type of appraisal. Insurance companies require an appraisal to insure jewellery. In most cases, homeowners insurance will not cover the total value of jewellery in the event of loss, theft, natural disaster, or any other incident.

In obtaining the proper coverage, you must provide appraisals for each piece of jewellery and obtain a separate rider or policy for your jewellery because of the higher value. The insurance appraisal provides a current fair market value, detailed and accurate description of the item, and hi-res photos which make it possible to identify, replace, and or recreate an exact duplicate should there ever be an incident requiring replacement.

INSURANCE APPRAISAL PROCESS

The process for insurance appraisals involves the primary evaluation by our GIA Certified Gemologist, followed by our in-house research and evaluation. You will receive the appraisal within 1 to 4 days. The cost is usually per item and varies depending on the intricacy of each piece of jewellery. You must set up an appointment for appraisal if you have multiple pieces.

We will inspect your jewellery and determine which pieces qualify for an insurance appraisal. You can elect to have some of your jewellery evaluated while you are with your items and leave some for further evaluation. If there is any documentation for previous appraisals, certificates, and receipts, please bring them to your appointment, as it will expedite the process and reduce your overall cost.
